About Us

The People of Praise Ministries International was formally known as International Holy Ghost Centre. The church was started in Kumasi on 5th August 1990 by Pastor Albert McEyeson. This church is a mission-focused church, which is committed to raising disciples for the Lord Jesus Christ. As a result, the church has established three main branches in Ghana, which are Kumasi, Obuasi and Jachie with two subsidiary branches at Feyiase and Appiadu yet to be given autonomous status as full branches of the church and recently planted another branch in London.

The church supports individual Christians to discover their ministries so that they will be useful in the church and community at large. We are a church that believes in the priesthood of all believers based on 1 Peter 2:9 - ' But ye are a chosen generation royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:' Hence our name the People of Praise Ministries International.
